The article states or implies that every motherboard goes through every test. I find that hard to believe. In circuit and functional testing (including burn-in) are quite expensive. It is a manual process needing operators to pick up and place the boards in the test equipment. It is more likely that only a sample of motherboards are tested.
My understanding of the description of the burn-in test is that each motherboard is tested with one video card, not that each motherboard is tested with every video card.
